  • Why should I buy from you if I can get it from Vistaprint for the same price?
    Vistaprint isn't your local friendly graphic designer! I'll do my best to get my prices to at least match theirs...but this isn't always possible. If you have your own design and you're 100% satisified with it, by all means please have it printed yourself through the faceless online corporation. Really. In all seriousness, if you're looking for help tweaking or even totally creating a design, that's when it makes sense to work with me. I'll give you suggestions and don't forget, you can actually talk to me, I'm not just some chatbot! Plus, you'll have lifelong product support if you work with me. 10 years down the road, and you need a new copy of your logo? I'll have it! Or maybe you want to update your letterhead every year. Just tell me what to do, and I'll get it done. You won't have to hassle with a clunky website.
  • Do I have to pay you every time I use a design you've created for me?
    Absolutely not! You pay once for the design, and then you own it for life. I do reserve the right to display anything I design for you (unless you tell me otherwise before I do any work).
  • When do you require payment?
    I require payment at the time of the order. Special circumstances may dictate other arrangements, but I handle everything on a case-by-case basis. If you need accomodations, just ask. If it's in my power to help, I will.
  • Do you accept trades as payment?
    If you're a fellow artist or designer, I most certainly do! If you're getting an hourly service from me, I ask that you offer the same number of hours in return. If you are getting a product, I ask that you offer something you consider to be of similar value. I do reserve the right to not accept a trade offer (sometimes a girl needs cash, yo).
  • What kind of files do I get if you design or digitize something for me?
    The standard file you'll need to work with across the internet is a .png. I will send you that, and any other type of file you request (within reason). I can create .svg, .jpg, .dxf, .ai, and .pdf files pretty quickly. I'm not saying I can't do other files - but they may take time to get from me as I'll have to figure out how to do it!
  • Can you recolor an existing logo?
    Absolutely! ...As long as you own the rights to it!
  • I have a rough drawing of what I want - do I get a discount on design?
    You can call it a discount - I call it less time needed to complete the job! I charge by the hour for design work, so the more detail you can give me, the lower your cost will be!
  • Can you print something I don't own the rights to?
    No - unless you (or I) can buy the rights to it. One of us has to own the design/photo/etc!
